The chaos produced by a state of incoherence or misalignment in the heart-head connection produces a permanent condition of stress and tension, which often lingers unacknowledged in our subconscious minds. Our relationships become tense, as a result of this, and we feel tired, our health suffers, as well as our moods, which swing up and down as though they were on a roller coaster.
We can even get used to this way of living, we can say “That’s life!” Even if we may seem like successful people, to ourselves and to the people around us, we are in fact not living up to our full potentials, often forcing ourselves to perform by using chemicals which stimulate us and others that calm us down, such as coffee, sleeping pills, or whatever works best at the time. If we are not careful though, sooner or later, our physical bodies will remind us that we are living in state of permanent tension and the chaotic energy will cause us to fall ill and age prematurely. This is above all a consequence of the fact that our bodies, our “machines” are not being used properly. The actual planetary chaos is nothing other than the expression of this internal state of chaos that is experienced by individuals and by the people who are governing them.
How do we reverse the cycle? New scientific breakthroughs can help us understand
Scientific studies have carried out experiments comparing HRV (Heart Rate Variability) charts with our Brainwave charts, which have led to some very interesting discoveries:
- When a person experiences emotions and thoughts that are SEPARATIVE (fear, anger, distrust, envy, etc.), the heart rate charts and the Brainwaves are out of harmony, incoherent, where one goes one way and the other in a different direction. This is chaos, a door that leads to disharmony, a certain “mal de vivre” which produces all of the negative consequences on ones soma and one’s psyche imaginable.
- When a person nurtures emotions and thoughts that are UNITIVE and elevated (compassion, kindness, cooperation and respect…) the HRV and the Brainwaves are not only in harmony with one another, but it has been discovered that it is the heart that leads the dance, the brain waves synchronize naturally with the heart rate variations, entering into a state of coherence and wellbeing; they are aligned.
If we focus our attention on our hearts and activate emotions and thoughts that are unitive and stem from our heart center, we increase the synchronicity between the heart and the brain, which in turn calms our nervous system and disactivates our stress response. The heart is the minds energy centre, it amplifies and transmits our emotional information to the universe.
The heart diffuses our emotions out into the world that surrounds us, and, at the same time, it is influenced by other people’s emotions. When a person connects to another one via physical contact or else via an attitude that is dictated by the power of love, the electrical activity of the two hearts involved in this communication becomes interlinked, and these two begin to influence each other in turn. This same phenomenon, when broadened, can activate a healing mechanism in which the healing coherence of love is contagious and can rapidly propagate itself.
Learn more about the heart! It’s a cultural revolution.
There is another important aspect that is worth mentioning: the heart is an important biological oscillator. In order to understand this factor better it is necessary to consider the phenomenon of the pendulum in balancing old clocks, which, when put into one same room will begin to oscillate together in the same exact way after some time, even if we are to intervene and try to modify their movements in an attempt to make one go at a different pace to another. This mechanism, briefly described, is the “principle of synchronistic resonance” of oscillatory systems, a phenomenon that is well known even when different diapason’s are set in motion.
In every oscillatory system (mechanical or living) the phenomenon of synchronistic resonance causes the element that oscillates most to drag the other less potent oscillators with it.
Our body is a big biological oscillator and our heart, not our head, is the most powerful of all organs. When the heart can impose its rhythm, all of the other oscillators in the body, at all levels, (physical, emotional, and mental) are automatically harmonized by the main rhythm. This is how all of the body’s functions are best optimized.
This optimized functioning would lead to the following results:
- A healthy body
- Stable and positive emotions
- An open and creative mind
- A life that is healthier, happier and longer
In order to pass from a state of chaos into a state of coherence, therefore, it is necessary to allow the heart to set the rhythm for the entire body informing all of its cells with its beat, with all of the ensuing benefits. The “orchestra director” has to be allowed back on his podium so that all of the different components can play together harmoniously.
The sense of joy that we experience inside when we feel that there is a direction that guides our bodies and our lives is so great and so profound that no other external circumstance can diminish it or take it away from us. A sense of serenity and of wellbeing that no longer depends on external circumstances but stems directly from within, from the natural state of coherence that is derived from opening one’s heart.
Giovanni 16, 22: “and you will rejoice, and no one will take away your joy”.
When we cultivate our heart’s qualities, that is, the “superior” emotions of abundance, generosity, compassion, serenity, inner peace, openness to life and to other people, fulfillment, etc. this positivity and harmony can spread around us in a contagious fashion via the heart’s magnetic field, which is much more potent than any other organ, extending itself for quite a distance, which means that we are all immersed in the magnetic fields of the hearts of the people who surround us.
It we open our hearts up and nurture them with positive emotions we can activate the same types of emotions in the people around us by using this phenomenon of resonance. We are all generators. If we want to experience quality relationships it is up to us to intensely cultivate and generate the wisdom and the strength of the superior emotions that are typical of an open heart.
It isn’t always necessary to embark on massive sermons or engage in serious debates; silence is often best: it is enough to radiate the vibrations that stem forth from the center of your heart.
