Now here is an intelligent idea for corporate events!
The idea: an interactive performance designed for Conventions and Events where a Trainer will turn the public itself into an actor in a matter of minutes. An intense participation is formed immediately thanks to the growing vortex of Deep & Light energy program.
It is made up of a series of performances and exercises that have been designed to incentivize the participant’s involvement, such as, Laughter Therapy, which is a group of exhilarating exercises based on contagious group laughter techniques (Laughter Yoga), theatrical improvisation, corporeal expression, comic-therapy and other elements with a considerable effect, such as creating right there and then, a real live polyphonic chorus, ending with a grand finale of laughter (base, baritone and tenor!).
The performance will slowly create a current of circular and uplifting energy that is both “revitalizing” and “liberating” and because it develops in an experiential way, it leads to a more profound communication between people, a natural renewal of team spirit and a joyous sense of true participation.
A theatrical action of this kind can be used in two different ways:
- Workshop-Show: recreational training (lasting from 30 to 90 minutes) in the scope of a convention and corporate events or else a part of traditional training courses and masters in order to improve socializing and communication between people.
- Workshop-Experiential: an itinerary (lasting a half or whole day) where in-depth experimental-recreational training techniques are carried out on single persons or groups. This course begins with a first particularly brilliant phase which helps us to prune our plant of useless dry and dead leaves formed from our own closed-mindedness and rigidity, in order to continue on to the next phase which consists in strengthening our roots by listening to and rediscovering ourselves, re-centering ourselves, so that we gain an inner wellbeing, a sense of peace, from which we can open ourselves up to other people in order to create fruitful relationships (the flourishing phase = becoming attractive people).
Various testimonials gathered together in these last years show that, despite the very short duration of the Workshop-Show (minimum 20 minutes, maximum 150), there is a live memory within our cells which resurfaces from time to time, when the situations present themselves, causing a possibility to emerge within us, a positive path or way which I have experienced, or tried, and which I have the freedom to decide to activate, with the awareness that it presents advantages, for ourselves and for the reality with which we come into contact, in terms of physical well-being as well as inner serenity. The ancient Zen monks knew about this “contagious effect” very well and used it in order to simply expand and spread joy and harmony.
The use of Laughter Therapy in training is based on the capacity and the efficacy of developing and favoring a climate of enthusiasm and interpersonal communication via the “therapeutic” properties of laughter and good humor.
What makes this idea intelligent?
Here are some good reasons for bringing laughter and a humorous spirit into the sphere of corporate training programs:
Because laughter is a serious thing! Knowing how to laugh, positive thinking, self-irony, are resources that are ever more important and that help us to live and confront a reality that is ever more complex and difficult.
Because living one’s life with brio can be the right move, just what you need to solve your problems, a new solution to an old problem, an emergency exit that can save your life.
Because laughter is a “mental sneeze” that is capable of liberating the mind and creating unity between the mind and the body, which forms the basis of our health (S.Freud).
Because, in today’s world, we always laugh less, the education towards joy is missing and we have lost that festive dimension.
Because humor, positive thinking, and self-irony are a brilliant way to restore an internal atmosphere so that it is more vital, more enthusiastic, a fresh way of seeing life, a capacity to be surprised by things, stunned even, creating, in this way, a virtuous circle that keeps the grips of depression at bay.
Because he who does not know how to laugh in life often causes tears.
Because laughter is the closest distance between people.
By rendering interpersonal relationships easier, laughter accelerates the processes of change, allowing communication to flow more easily, freeing life from its tediousness… it also allows you to save on costs and energy.
Here is a great way to SAVE ENERGY: SMILE MORE !!!!
A Zen text reads:
“He who is master in the art of living does not make much distinction between his work and his leisure time, between his mind and his body, his education and his recreation, his love and his religion. He simply follows his vision of excellence in whatever he does, letting others decide whether he is playing or working. He always believes he is doing both at once.”
